Maria Outters

Before joining SBTi, Maria served as Chief of Strategy and Chief of Sustainability in several large international organizations to support the growth and strategic turnarounds of different businesses. In her last role, Maria led the Corporate Responsibility team at Sodexo, major food caterer who was a pioneer in getting approved in 2019 SBTi targets aligned with the 1.5° limit.

Maria started as a consultant with McKinsey and throughout her career she lived in Portugal and Hongkong and she travelled extensively through South America, USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. She is now based in Paris.

Maria holds a master’s degree in business management from the ESCP Paris and a MBA from INSEAD.
